Today I spent around 2 hours through the hoops and loops that is Netherlands health system to be able to schedule the second dose of Corona vaccine for my kid. Given A already had an infection in the past, the NL government is against the notation that A should be given a second dose.
I had to stay and listen to the pros and cons of the second dose. Only then I can consciously decide that I do wish to have the second dose of Corona vaccine for A knowing full well of all the risk.
I do greatly appreciate all the care put into assuring that I know what I am doing when I take the decision. But I can't help thinking, why don't they make everyone goes through this lengthy procedure too before they can decide if they don't want to have the coronavirus vaccination?
